Hello,
I downloaded the evaluation version (v7.0.0008) and got an installation error:

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

I chose complete installation, but did not select msvc++.net integration.

Did anybody else experience this problem and/or solve it?

Thanks for any help.

PS: The program was already copied to disc. When I start the perf. anl. the computer works for a while, but nothing happens.

I was able to solve my issue. It was a simple problem with file permissions, which did not allow write access to the newly created program directory. I think it came from strange inherited permissions.

I ran into the same issue - however, I noticed that there was a problem in executing one of the executables from the install. the dependency file for the executable was missing - replacing it fixed the problem.
