We haven't done comparisons against PowerStation in four years. At that time, DVF 5.0 was as good or somewhat better than PowerStation, on average. Since then we've had three major releases, each with significant (10-15% or more) improvements in run-time performance. The latest release supports optimizing for the Intel Pentium III and AMD Athlon. For comparisons against current compilers, see http://www.compaq.com/fortran/visual/intro-performance.html.
