Hello, I am playing with the Encapsulator service these days and I found it will be really good addition for some specific cases if there is minimize() / restore() functionality added to the API's. That's useful for Windows app's, for example, where such a functionality is preferable. Currently, for full-screen app we must use exitFullScreen(), but I would prefer to have an option to minimize/restore for better user experience on tablets. Obviously, this is minor feature but it may be useful for some apps. In addition, there could be an API providing the target platform. En brief, something like that could be considered: intel.adp.encapsulator.minimize(); intel.adp.encapsulator.restore(); intel.adp.encapsulator.getCurrentPlatform(); Also, WebKit copy/paste support could be added. The encapsulated apps are signed and tested, so I believe some basic copy/paste functionality will not be a security risk. For my test app, for example, I could use copyToClipboard() / pasteFromClipboard() APIs if they were available -- that can help a lot for tablet apps where shortcuts (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V) aren't (easily) available.
