I'm reading 4-bytes seismic trace values from a SEGY file. Ifort reads the 4 bytes using the IEEE_r4 floating point standard to translate the values. I need to translate this values to the format IBM_r4 floating point format.
DDoes anybody know how to do this???

Do you need to convert from IEEE FP to IBM FP or the other way round? I'm not aware of an Intel library, but I've found this one:

However, it shouldn't be too hard to code your own conversion using integer "shifts" and "or".
