Wondering how Intel® Developer Zone members are innovating on Ultrabook™ devices? We just launched a new Developer & Software Partner Success page to showcase software that goes above and beyond to take advantage of capabilities touch and sensors in Ultrabooks.  Check it out here:

What ideas do you have for touch & sensor applications on Windows* 8?  Do you plan to create any Ultrabook apps?

Interesting material, specially the one related to education in Brazil.

Really this is very interesting, and it's good support to education.

We have built an HTML5 application for developers, a code snippet manager called "Snipppet". It's optimized for Windows 8 touch UI on the Ultrabook. The experience was interesting, and while the Windows 8 platform is not mature enough yet, we got some interesting data and feedback about how people interact with touch based PC apps.

My suggestion to other developers would be: touch functionality will not be exclusive to Windows 8, build your app with back-version and cross platform portability in mind (HTML5 and without relying on platform specific APIs).

Paulius, thanks for sharing your tips! Is there a link where we can learn more about Snipppet?

Lauren, thanks for the link.

You can see screenshots and info about Snipppet directly on Windows Store: http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-US/app/snipppet/8d7ff457-58c8-4916-...

We are updating our company website in preparation for the MWC. Once that is back up, it will have more info and Windows 7 / OSX versions for download.
