The following is a statement that the group in charge of the Intel® Embedded Graphics Drivers (IEGD) -- an entirely separate group from the folks responsible for Intel® Integrated Graphics -- asked us to post, to help IEGD developers and end-users identify the appropriate channels for obtaining support:
We appreciate your interest in using the Intel® Embedded Graphics Drivers (IEGD), but Intel is not currently supporting IEGD through the Intel® Software Network forums. Please see the description for Intel® Software Network Graphics in the Communities pull down window on the main page, which describes the graphics chipsets and issue types that are supported through this forum.
The target usage of IEGD is for embedded OEMs and vendors who are creating fixed-function embedded devices such as ATM machines, cash registers, point-of-sale devices, in-vehicle infotainment systems, as well as many other embedded devices with displays. While you may be using IEGD for such an embedded device, technical support for IEGD is only available through manufacturers or distributors of Intel products through Intel® Premier Support. If you have access to Intel Premier Support, please submit your questions there. If you are unsure if you have access to Intel Premier Support, please contact your Intel sales representative for more details. Otherwise, please contact your board manufacturer or Intel® Authorized Distributor for further support. Thank you.==
