A few words on what's new in version v0.24 of the DTK. Once of the most important features added since the last version is the addition of a new setup and configuration tool. It's been a lot of work to build and it's not anywhere close to finished yet. It is clearly still in very early stages of development. I generally recommend that you only try it if you know Intel AMT pretty well, otherwise, wait for a better version and tutorial videos.
I am very pleased to announce that we have made the Intel AMT Developer Tool Kit (DTK) souce code available for download. Simply download the code, and feel free to use it to jump start your development. A BIG THANKS to Ylian for making this happen.

ZDNet Executive Editor David Berlind finds out how to Manage PCs remotely even when the system is powered off. This video demonstrates some of the capabilities of Altiris solutions on HP desktops (software manageability solution built using the Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) Software Development kit). Altiris solutions allow IT organizations to discover systems regardless of the power state, remotely boot the systems, and more specifically perform configuration and management tasks in a network environment.
