Booting Moblin v2 beta live image using an USB drive
This video shows how to configure an ASUS EeePC 1005HA CMOS SETUP in order to boot from an USB drive. It shows how to boot a live Moblin v2 image without modifying the hard drive.
Expand Description Collapse DescriptionASUS EeePC 1005HA has a Boot Booster option in the CMOS SETUP. Its default value is Enabled. When this option is enabled, the system boots too fast. Therefore, the user isn't able to choose a different boot drive.
Once you have burned an USB drive with a Moblin v2 image, you can follow the steps shown in the video in order to boot a live Moblin v2 image.
This video is based on an ASUS EeePC 1005HA. However, the same steps can be used for many other ASUS EeePC netbook models.
ASUS EeePC 1005HA uses an Intel(R) Atom(TM) N270 microprocessor @ 1.60GHz with Hyper-Threading.
