Adobe developer Terry Paton explains the ease and opportunity of distributing his apps using Adobe’s InMarket service for AppUp.

Update 7/21/2011: Adobe has announced that the InMarket services will be shutting down and that the Intel AppUp developer program will be supporting submission of AIR applications to AppUp center directly from the AppUp developer program site. Current information at http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/forums/inmarket-air-packaging-services-appup-migrating-appup-developer-program.
