Daniel Pohl, Intel Research Scientist, presents on the latest research on ray tracing in the Intel Booth at SIGGRAPH 2009.  Algorithms for ray tracing simulate the properties of individual rays of light from the camera to objects and light sources and vice versa creating new ways for game developers, animation studios and 3-D modelers to create visual effects.
