Omar Rodriguez demonstrates and explains Intel’s Smoke demo. This demo was built to showcase one way to create a highly threaded game. This video examines some of the game technologies (e.g. Havok, Ogre3D, FMOD, etc.) used in Smoke and how they benefit from effective threading. All of the source code for Smoke is available for download.
