I installed the MCA SDK and now there is a tool tray icon in the Windows XP taskbar titled "Intel MCA Application". Can I remove it?

You shouldnot disable the ToolTray application on the developer workstation. Doing so will cause portions of the MCA SDK to stop functioning.
However, if you are using a Citrix server the ToolTray application is not required on the Citrix server because button actions are handled locally on the developer workstation. You may wish to disable the ToolTray applicationon the server, otherwise a copy will run for each user that logs on to the server.
To remove the ToolTray application from your Citrix Server:
1) Follow the proper steps to back up your registry (see Microsoft* article #322756 for more info).
2) Delete the IntelHealthcareToolTray value from the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun registry key. (see Microsoft* article #322756 for steps on modifying the registry).
