Parallel Studio (and Visual Fortran) in Linux

Hello,

I'm downloading 2.0 gb parallel_studio_xe_2013.tgz package from the non-commercial software development site of Intel. I am "currently" using Windows but I would like to use visual fortran and c++ under Ubuntu 12.04. Is it possible ? If not can you suggest me any Linux system working perfectly with parallel studio, especially Visual Fortran part of it. Thanks.

Note: I am trying to translate some C++ codes into Fortran codes and the ones that I cannot translate will be binded or used in my Fortran codes.

Ok, I install the Parallel Studio. But, now I have the license problem:

Error: A license for FCompL is not available (-8,130).

License file(s) used were (in this order):

** 4. /home/emre/intel/licenses

ifort: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

How can I solve this problem ? Thanks

Did you request a noncommercial license for Parallel Studio XE? When you installed, did it prompt you for a serial number?

Please note that the product on Linux does not have the "Visual" in its name. You certainly can use Intel C++ and Fortran on Linux.
