We would like to use the new coprocessor as a cryptographic accelerator and we wonder what performance we can get from it.
Thanks in advance!

I will look into this and get back to you. If I have not responded in a week, please ping me by "Send Author A Message".
Thanks for the ping. Yes, we do have good performance figures. And we do have permission to release a sanitized version of the information to you, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I'll remind him.
Any idea when to expect some figures?
There's both good news and bad news. The good news is that there are some good numbers for DES and they will be made public. The bad news is that the authors desire to publish the information in a more formal piece of collateral (vs in this forum) sometime in the next couple of months.
