Windows* Vista, Windows* 7 and Windows* Server 2008 require administrator privileges for installation or removal of the license manager as a service. Therefore, run the setup for the Intel® License Manager for FLEXlm* on Windows* as an administrator for successful execution.

Run lmconfig.exe "as Administrator" directly from the folder below in Windows* Explorer, if the Start menu doesn't allow running as administrator:
     
   -  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\FLEXlm  (For IA-32)

   -  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\FLEXlm  (For Intel® 64)
