Registration and Licensing
Do I need to reinstall the purchased product if I have the evaluation copy of the product installed?
If you have the evaluation copy of the product installed, it is not mandatory to reinstall the purchased product. [Except for Vtune Performance Analyzer]. Reinstallation is required only if you want to use a different version of the product.
Replace the purchased license file to the default system directory where the product was installed.
What should I do if I have the purchase order and not the serial number?
If you have not registered the product, please contact your reseller with the purchase order number and they can provide you the associated serial number.

Where can I obtain a Non-Commercial license for Intel® Software Development Products?
Intel has expanded its offerings of free tools for non-commercial software development. This offering is provided to developers who are developing software on their own time without compensation.
License compatibility with older Intel® compiler versions
The 12.X version of the compiler in the XE product line is compatible with all older versions but not vice versa. Users with older 11.X version will need an upgrade license for the 12.X XE product line.
