What is the best way for my application to detectif the MCAis installed and running on a computer?I want to design my application to be intelligent in this regard soit knows what method to use to get data based on whether the MCA is installed or not.

The recommended way is to look for the presence of the HKLMSoftwareIntelHealthcareSDK registry key.
