It looks like something wrong with the libraries (libVT.a etc)
Even when I try to compile the examples, linker gives below message:
libVT.a: file not recognized: File format not recognized

Any idea?

Hi,
The Premier Support engineers canusually resolve this type of problem more quickly, butseveral of us in this forum use the Intel Cluster Toolsso maybe we can help. Let's start with some basic info:


  • What versions of Intel Trace Collector and Intel Trace Analyzer are you using?

  • What Linux distribution are you using?

  • Is your system IA-32, EM64T, or Itanium?

  • What compile/link commandsare youusing?

This problem shouldn't be too difficult to fix.
