Hello, My Problem is-: As per SDK instruction i need to create GUID in my project. but the code written in C++ and i have used VC++ 2008. now what will be the process of GUID generation and steps.. Can I continue with my Intel login and after generating GUID submit my MSI. without using GUID in my application code.. Please Reply ..

Hi Vritti,

You can generate GUID by visiting My Dashboard, when you click on My Dashboard go to My Applications - Enter the app name and click on Get GUID http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/dashboard/myapps

The same GUID has to be implementated in your code and you can refer to SDK Overview for more information : http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/sdk

Where should i use my application GUID? I use C++ wrapper class in my vb.net/c# application.

When i run my applicaiton i get the GUId as 11111111-1111-1111-11111111.
Instead i need to submit my GUID ?

Hi Vijay,

Thank you for your query.

As Khan stated above, the GUID is generated on you dashboard. You need to use the same GUID and paste it in the SDK. Please refer to the documentation that came with the SDK for more information.

Please also note that currently we are investigating if using wrapper is supported or not.
