Since taking over the role of community manager, we’ve made a few changes to the community that I hope you like.  The first is that we’ve given the homepage a face-lift.  We tried to make it a little more pleasing to the eye plus make it easier for you to find what you need as quickly as possible.  Hopefully you’ve noticed that our Black Belts are being highlighted and recognized on the page.  If all the rewards and accolades for becoming a Black Belt weren’t enough, now you have the extra incentive of having your picture on the community homepage!  We’ve also added a video section to the bot

Presenting at IDF, September 13-15th

It's official. I will be a speaker at IDF in San Francisco September 13th to the 15th. It's coming up very soon. Today we had another review of the presentation material. Most speakers have finely tuned decks of slides, just like I do. But when starting the review I say that I will not be presenting many of the slides. Instead, I opt to do hands-on demonstrations throughout the presentation. It's must fun and the autience gets a feel of the technology instead of the slides. I hope you will join me.

Playing around with Intel AMT on Windows Phone

After reading Ylian Saint-hilaire‘s blog about using the Mesh Manageability Tools on the Android Phone I felt inspired to build something similar around the Windows Phone, which it will be available at the year-end holiday season.  If you’re not yet familiar with the Windows Phone I’ll describe it as a new generation of Microsoft phones focused on consumer, tightly integrated with the cloud and social networks.

Taking over IMRSDK.dll sockets

Just a quick blog to talk about IMRSDK.dll and how to use it from other languages. So far, all of the methods exported by this DLL have been exported with the "__CDECL" calling convention. This is not the default for .NET and probably many other languages. As a result, if you call into IMRSDK.dll using "__STDCALL", it may work, but it's not proper.

SCCM with AMT之四：SCCM Provision之后AMT机器无法通过Web访问问题及解决

　　在SCCM中AMT机器Provision之后，会出现在Web UI中无法通过HTTPS访问AMT机器的问题，能看到Logon的页面，但是怎么也登录不进去。



　　经过在网上查阅资料，原来是因为IE浏览器在访问非标准端口时使用Kerberos身份验证会有问题，需要下载相关的修复补丁和修改注册表。详情可以参考http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908209。
　　补丁可以在http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=908209&kbln=zh-cn 下载，安装修复之后，再按照如下方法修改注册表（在笔者的Windows 2003 SP2中不需要安装更新补丁，但是注册表也是需要修改的）：

　　32位机器：
　　1.单击 开始、 单击 运行，键入 regedit，然后单击 确定。
　　2.在左窗格中找到并单击以下注册表子项：
