Intel recently announced the addition of the RDSEED instruction to the Intel® 64 and IA-32 Architectures. An addition to Intel® Secure Key, this new instruction will appear in future generations of Intel processors.

RdRand Library now available for Apple OS X
I am happy to announce that we have added Apple OS X support to the RdRand Library. The new source package builds under both OS X and Linux using either Intel's C++ compiler compiler or GNU gcc.
The library package also includes pre-built, static libraries for both Ubuntu Linux and OS X Mountain Lion.
