Intel Cloud Services Platform beta is a set of online cloud-based scalable services that provide key capabilities such as location, identity and context to developers for use in server, desktop, and mobile applications aimed at both consumers and businesses. All services are identity-based to provide rich interoperability and seamless app experiences.
Today, limited interoperability across multiple cloud services results in restricted sharing of data between applications and services. Data handoff between services and multiple function calls become a great part of the work in creating an application of any complexity – yet most of this work is not part of the developer’s core value add. This work rapidly grows and becomes burdensome for developers to implement and manage, especially with things like management of user information that crosses more than one business domain or environment.
The cloud services platform provides a set of independent affiliated cloud services accessed via RESTful APIs providing developers with differentiated capabilities.
The Cloud Services Platform beta is currently composed of these primary services:
Intel Identity Service: Overview
Location-based Service: Overivew
Context Service: Overview
