Since taking over the role of community manager, we’ve made a few changes to the community that I hope you like. The first is that we’ve given the homepage a face-lift. We tried to make it a little more pleasing to the eye plus make it easier for you to find what you need as quickly as possible. Hopefully you’ve noticed that our Black Belts are being highlighted and recognized on the page. If all the rewards and accolades for becoming a Black Belt weren’t enough, now you have the extra incentive of having your picture on the community homepage! We’ve also added a video section to the bottom of the page which will be updated with relevant and timely content. Right now we’re featuring an interview with Javier Caceres, the very first Black Belt in our community.
The biggest change that we’ve made is that now we have included Security into the community, so that the new community name is now Manageability and Security Community. With the increasing importance of security and the inherent security features of vPro and AMT, adding security to our community just seemed to make sense. Right now the content is intermixed, but we have plans to segregate the manageability and security articles, downloads, etc. so that it will be much easier to find the information that you need.
So now I’ll open it up to you, the users of the community. We’ve made some changes that we thought were important, but we really want to know what you think. What would you like to see changed in the community? Think of this as a brainstorming activity – there are no bad ideas or suggestions. Just let us know what you like – don’t like, use – don’t use, want – don’t want. This is your community after all, so take this opportunity to help set its direction.
