Hi,

I'm having some strange linking problems with the ifort compiler on an itanium2 system.
The code compiles fine and seems to link without any error messages, but the executable is not created. I can, however, force creation of the executable by specifying the --noinhibit-exec linker flag. Does anybody know what might be going on ?
I don't know if it is related but after I forced the linker to create the executable the code runs but dies quickly with a
forrtl: severe(174): SIGSEGV, segmentation fault occured
I'd really appreciate any thoughts.
