Sorry for bad English. I would like to publish on Intel AppUp a program I wrote in Java with Eclipse, and that end I installed the plugin on Eclipse "adp-java-eclipse-plugin-v1.1.zip" Now there's Eclipse 'menu "Intel AppUp', but 'the subheadings of "Start Intel AppUp Software Debugger", "Stop Software Intel AppUp Debugger "and" Intel AppUp Software Development Wizard "is DEACTIVATED. I read in the help that if these subheadings are disabled means that the Java SDK is not 'installed correctly, but I just installed the latest version of Java SDK (version 7 update 2) and I have it installed correctly, if I type "java-jar" and the name of the program the program starts normally! I use Windows XP, if I click on "Control Panel" and then "Remove Programs" in the list of installed programs that is 'inclusive' Java (TM) 7 Update 2 "and" Java (TM) SE Development Kit 7 Update 2. " How do I run the plugin?

I use Windows XP Professional SP3 (32 bit), Eclipse use the version of "Galileo", and the Java SDK is version 7 Update 2.

From Eclipse I tried to click on "Intel AppUp developer program Dashboard ", but when I type in the window that appears as a Login ID "escariota" and the password is my password I view that the login and 'Failed!

YET clicking on "Log in" on the site and typing that ID and the password everything works fine!
The ID and password are recognized!

Have not yet been contacted by someone regarding the reason for ID and password will NOT be accepted by the plug-in for Eclipse.

Hi Escariota,

I would like to confirm that we have replied to your request directly to your personal email.

Eclipse plug-in for Eclipse has been tested on different OS. Please find more information on http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/intel-appup-software-development-kit-release-notes-java-software.

I have personally tested on an XP Professional x32 and Windows 7 Enterprise x64 using Eclipse Galileo 3.5.2.

1. Please try first with a new copy (3.5.2 and + versions) of Eclipse.
2. Make sure that previously installed plug-in do not prevent you from installing the one you need (a fresh new copy of Eclipse may help with this)
3. Please install the SDK by following the link http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/sdksandtools
4. Download the Plug in and leave it in zip format
5. Follow the instructions (point 3) as detailed on http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/intel-appup-java-sdk-overview
6. In certain cases it might be of help if you deselect the check boxes at the bottom of the installation window in Eclipse while you install the plug-
in.

Hi Paride,
I logged on to and I tried to download the Intel AppUp SDK for Java, but it appears written to download the file

"AppUpSDK_Java_v1.1.2.msi"

are you sure it is the right file?
It 's not a file for Visual Studio? (I do NOT have Visual Studio)

Once downloaded the file just double-click the file name to install it? Something is downloaded from the Internet? (do you remember I have always banda "close")

Hi Escariota,

Yes, I confirm, it is the right one.

AppUpSDK_Java_v1.1.2.msi is an SDK developed for Java applications.

You can download the file directly from

http://appdeveloper.intel.com/sites/files/sdk/AppUpSDK_Java_v1.1.2.msi

Install it and then follow the steps from step 4 as described in my previous post (February 29, 2012 - 04:42)

I am sorry for your Internet connection problems but the file doesn’t look too big (I believe around 15MB).
