I'm using the IMSL Fortran Numerical Library Version 6.0.0
I could compile a code in the command prompt but I have not been able to compile it in the Visual Studio shell.
I followed the instructions in this site http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/installing-and-using-the-imsl-libraries/?wapkw=imsl+library
but I get the following error message:
fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'imsl.obj'
Could anyone help me or point me to the answer?

Are you using the version of IMSL that is provided with Intel® Visual Fortran Composer XE 2011 for Windows with IMSL 6.0?
We do not support using other versions of IMSL.

That's what I understood. Where can I verify that? The readme files are not that informative.

It's not the imsl that comes with Intel® Visual Fortran Composer XE 2011.

If it's not the IMSL we provide, we can't really help with it. I am unsure where you would get a reference to imsl.obj, though.
If you obtained IMSL separately, please contact the vendor from whom you bought it for assistance.
