Only yesterday I have blogged about the upcoming Game Developers Conference 2009. It was about the big picture, namely the keynote sessions which are planned for GDC‘09. I will attend dedicated tech sessions which are offered within the section „Programming“:
Discover if your game concepts are ready to rise to glory. Enter Level Up 2009. For the first time, this year’s contestants will be judged by a panel of pioneering game developers who helped shape the industry (including Sid Meier, Will Wright and Rick Raymo), plus a team of experts from Intel.

Howdy gamers! I am very pleased to say the judges for this year's Intel Game Demo Challenge have been announced and what a superstar panel it is! (AND I'm not just saying that because I am one of them!). Will Wright? Sid Meier? I've got those two gaming rockstars to thank for a large missing gap of time in my life from being addicted to playing Spore, Sim City and Civilization! It's an unbelievable panel that has not ever been seen in the past years we've held this contest.
I like many, didn't get to go to GDC this year. For me, it was a family vacation that kept me away.
Have no fear... we've captured many of the Intel activities on video -- sessions, lounge chalk talks, and interviews with developers -- to watch at your leisure. It is Friday afternoon, so why not take a quick break and catch up on videos?
