System development to Intel Atom based mobile phones

Hy!

We are trying to build AOSP based system, and custom kernel to our Intel Atom based mobile phones, like ZTE Grand X In. I just tried all of avalible sources, like Intel-3.0-mid source from AOSP, 4.0.4/4.1.1 SDK sources, etc, but I can't manage to boot up the kernel and ROM neither. I know, some devices has almost same board (mfld_pr2) with some little modification.

I want to ask, is there any way to get the mfld_pr2 defconfig, and/or device trees + vendor files? We just asked manufacturer, they sent us to Intel, so thats why I am here.

MIT GSS-API Library with CyaSSL Available for Android

Hi,

Last November we announced the availability of MIT GSS-API and CyaSSL embedded SSL libraries for Android NDK applications (previous post: http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/336220). This project included a port of the MIT Kerberos libraries to Android as well as the development of a Java (org.ietf.jgss) GSS-API interface to those native libraries.

As I was told on hand, place my report here and some of my requests for support: (tradutto with google translator from Italian to English)

Hi,
contact you to ask you for an updated guide to compile the Android 4.1.1 JB and warn that the current sources related to Android have several errors during decompression, while the part relating to the kernel is running, even if it is only compilable with gcc 4.4. 3 of ubuntu 10.4lts, otherwise even if the build is successful then the latter apparently not part of emulator.

Programming guide for next generation Atom

Hi,

When will we see documentation for the next generation Atom processor? I assume that a lot of the optimization techniques that are valid for the current iteration of the Atom CPU will not be relevant for the next generation. Further, any word on what ISA extensions we will see there (i.e. AVX, AVX2, etc.)? Will it be in synchronization with the current generation "Core" products?

Thanks!

HAXM install fails on Windows 7 - "Failed to configure driver: unknown error. Failed to open driver"

I'm running into an unknown error when trying to install HAXM on my machine(Windows 7, Intel Core i7-2600, Asus P8Z68-M motherboard).  I've checked my BIOS settings to ensure that virutalization is enabled, and my BIOS and drivers appear to be up to date.  We also have two other developers here with the same hardware setup who are able to install HAXM, so it seems like something that should work for me.

MIT Kerberos GSS-API with CyaSSL Now Available for Android

Hi,

We would like to announce support for the MIT Kerberos and GSS-API libraries and the CyaSSL embedded SSL library for the Android platform. We have just finished a port of MIT Kerberos to Android as well as the development of an org.ietf.jgss (RFC 5653) compatible Java GSS-API layer. All project code has been released under the open source MIT license, with example client/server applications as well as a sample Android NDK application.

Please see our release blog post for complete details:
