Problem with depth to color image projection

Hi! I've stumbled upon a problem with depth projections. My company ordered 2 cameras, and when running camera_uvmap.exe example from the SDK, one camera shows correct projection(Projection_correct.png) while another one(installed on a different computer) exhibits an unacceptably big mismatch(Projection_wrong.png). The two cameras are in different locations, so I can't test them simultaneously on the same machine, or test the "working" camera on a "non-working" machine. I have the latest SDK installed everywhere, so this cannot be an issue too.

How can we have two implementations in a single program

Hi,

I am trying to implement two implementations  ex. gesture recognition and face recongnition in a single program.

I am finding it difficult to have the syncronization using the sync pointers

like "sps.SynchronizeEx();"  this one.

I was able to LocateStreams for both Gesture and Face profiles but not able to write a proper sync point for using the both implementations .

Here is the small code snippet I have writen

GeoNode: radiusImage, massCenterImage, normal, etc

Hi all,

Does anyone have any idea regarding the radius, normal and mass center attributes found in the GeoNode data???
I've been trying to figure this out since a while, unfortunately there is basically not much info besides this, which are rather cryptic to me:

radiusWorld - The volume of a fingertip node in 3D in meters.
radiusImage - The volume of a fingertip node in 2D in pixels.

normal - The vector that is perpendicular to the hand (palm center) plane.

Bad Color Values?

Hey Folks,

I'm working with a team on point clouds for autonomous NASA greenhouses in the Correll Robotics Laboratory at the University of Colorado Boulder. We're using Intel's PXC for its close-range precision, but having a problem visualizing RGB32 data in the Point Cloud Library (pointclouds.org).

Standalone .EXE

After poking around in Visual Strudio, the documentation and the web, I could not find a way to create a standalone .exe that would run on a machine without the PerC SDK installed. Is there a way to do this? Or is the incoming assumptions that users would install PerC themselves (unlikely), or have PerC installed by the OEM when buying a machine?

UtilCapture Release

I am accessing the PerC camera with 2 methods.  One gets 60 FPS for depth, IR map, and UV Map at 320x240.  The other gets 30 FPS and gets RGB at 640x480, depth, IR Map and UV Map .  They both work fine from startup but I am trying to switch between them dynamically.  UtilCapture has a Release method but the 'delete this' in UtilCapture.h fails with "_ASSERTE(_BLOCK_TYPE_IS_VALID(pHead->nBlockUse))".  It is not clear how to terminate the camera access with UtilCapture and my search through the  examples failed to turn up anything.  What am I missing?
