Ryan Newton works on the Intel® Concurrent Collections project, as well as other research projects. Prior to joining Intel, he earned his PhD at MIT, where his thesis topic was Language Design for Distributed Stream Processing (http://people.csail.mit.edu/newton/). Ryan’s interests include domain specific programming languages, sensor networks, and scheduling algorithms for paralleism.
