Before submitting your application for validation, make sure you have the following ready:
- You have a login ID.
- You have become an Intel AppUp® developer, registered your organization name, and updated your profile. Payment information (Paypal email ID) is required if you are submitting a paid application.
- You have reviewed the Application Readiness Checklist to help ensure you have a smooth validation.
- You have reviewed the Packaging Requirements Guide and packaged your application accordingly.
- You have decided on several possible application names. The application name must be unique to the entire Intel AppUp® center. Therefore, having several names ready gives you options in case your first choice is not available.
- You have a version numbering policy and a version number for this submission (optional).
- You have decided on a date when the application should be publicly available (optional). (Intel does not guarantee this date.)
- You have an icon for your application. The Product Icon should be in .png format, 100x100 pixels or larger in 1:1 aspect ratio.
- You have decided on a short, benefits-oriented tagline (optional), and both a short (maximum 300 characters) and a long (maximum 5000 characters) description for your application.
- You have a list of features you want to briefly describe (optional).
- You have considered two appropriate categories for your application (e.g. games, education, personal productivity, etc.). You will be able to select from a list of current categories during submission.
- You have a list of meta tags for Intel AppUp center searches (optional).
- You have chosen a content rating appropriate for the application content (see the Developer Guidelines for content ratings).
- You have captured a primary screen shot and two optional screen shots. All screen shots must be 820x480 (.jpg, .gif or .png are accepted).
- You have contacts for application support (email address and URL are recommended).
- Your end user license agreement (EULA) terms and conditions are ready to publish (or you may use the default EULA provided by Intel).
- You have considered pricing for all the markets (domestic and international) you intend to publish in and understand your costs for the components you use. Your total component Revenue Share must not exceed 100%.
- Your binary is compiled for the appropriate operating systems and ready to submit.
- Your binary for upload must be packed according to the Packaging Requirements Guide and in one of the following formats:
- .msi/.exe (for Windows applications)
- .rpm (for MeeGo)
