Welcome and Introductions
Shlomi. NebGurion University of the Negev. Located in Beer-Sheva 1hr south of Tel-Aviv. 18k students. Been at Univ for 15 years. Professor in computing. Do some work of inductional\\background(?) memory and Concurrency.
Sanjeev: department of computer Science in Indian institute of Technology. 300 miles SE of New Delhi. One of top engineering schools in India. Faculty has about 350 staff(?) and 4k students. Previously in area of HPC, Code generation & compiler design, working with intel on the multi-core design. Multicore Curriculum already with Intel.
Tei-Wei: distinguished professor at National Taiwan University, Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering. Interests include real-teim systems, embedded systems, real-time database systems, and information servers.

Sanjeev: comments, MTL, talking from the point of view of Indian Academic Systems, EMBEDDED and GRAPHICAL requirements. LRB for a long time: and embedded systems? Would really fly!
Stephen: Sanjeev Action Kit, Action Developer program; ATOM Access to an Action Kit for other Development kits and other universalities to do some kind of experimenting.

APPLICATION bottleneck NOTE
JOSE: we built a special lab for training, windows 7 64-bit, maintainability of courseware. NEW releases! For hardware, software? What methodology is in place to insure latest and greatest? Hardware given to us, now how do we make changes now? UP TO DATE course materials, computing group, keep pushing visual demos! FOG demo, smoke demo, really good, but we need more up to date, current most current!
Ms. Rosni: In Malaysia , is it ok for me to invite other colleagues? Yes, or invite them to join the Intel Academic Community themselves.

2. Confirm the type of license for submitted articles (make sure usage is displayed on submission page).
Make sure there is a box to click on agreeing licenses terms on submission dialogue box.
3. Confirm what graphic card in machines?
A. No graphic card, embedded graphics on nodes
4. What is the network connectivity on server \\ server to file system etc?
5, Confirm who owns courseware, and is it being maintained (so always can run on the latest material)

7. Wei: Latency to Manycore Testing Lab is worse than terrible with common line. Discuss issue with Selwyn for further identification and report back to Mike P. Chair note: emails sent, Mike pursuing.
