Different p-states will let processor core work at different frequency level and voltage level. It's enabled by Intel Enhanced Speedstep technology.
Power consumption in Android 4.1.1 ( Jelly Bean ) is reduced by ~20% and Google's software developers demonstrated what codes optimization could do!

Hi! I'm using windows 7 and the power checker tool to test the power efficiency of my apps. For some reason my platform timer tick resolution shows a value 2.5ms for the baseline. I've been reading about it and it turns out it should have a default value of 15.6ms.
Is there any way to change the value back to 15.6ms for the OS?
With mobile phones becoming a basic part of life, the recharging of mobile phone batteries has always been a problem . The mobile phones vary in their talk time and battery stand by according to their manufacturer and batteries. All these phones irrespective of their manufacturer and batteries have to be put to recharge after the battery has drained out. The main objective of their manufacturer and battery make. In this paper a new proposal has been made so as to make the recharging of the mobile phones is done automatically as you talk in your mobile phone!
In my blog about the most common pitfalls in analyzing application power consumption (http://redfort-software.intel.com/en-us/forums/showthread.php?t=106174&o=a&s=lr) I talked about potential issues that could drive power consumption to higher amounts. C-states are states when the CPU has reduced or turned off selected functions. Different processors support different numbers of C-states in which various parts of the CPU are turned off.
much happening overheating laptop or netbook because of the tremendous weight of the processor workload due to heavy application / and many run concurrently becoming an increasingly to affect the performance of a laptop or a netbook, is there any good solution for it yet again keterbatsan processor capabilities override the heavy workload and along various apliaksi though supported by a good graphics card but sometimes still occur pans over a high load on the processor?
Are there any DirectX games of Windows 7 have passed Intel's Power Checker?
To ask an APP change Platform Timer Resolution is unreasonable.
I sorry if it is in the wrong forum, but it is my first time
I probably cannot reproduce the problem. I am just posting that it is possible for the Intel Power Gadget to invoke BOSD. I wonder if this crash dump is useful.
I am running window 7 64 bit Home Premium Service Pack 1

My ISV tells me that he is able to start the Power Checker baseline test, but after 2 seconds after pressing start, with about 1/10th of the green status bar showing, the Power Checker quits silently.
