Hi Validation Team, Thanks for finishing and approving 2 of my 4 java apps I really appreciate it! the following is some observations: 1. Somtimes even for the validation team it appears the latest app is not shown to you even though beta testing was completed. 2. Jars submitted sometimes disappear from Appup so you only get the last one not the one submitted and tested. I am not sure what causes this but it has happened 2 times for me.
Imagine that I have got an application which needs a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768, but the application must also be executed with a lower resolution like: 1024x 600, and if the application change the screen resolution and once the restore to its previous state, the application is accepted?
Hi All, Just recently I discovered several things wrong with the Java process I reported them today so hopefully they can get addressed. 1. Packaging broken. When using program arguments the packaging randomly adds space and line feed. 2. Validation program claims invalid id for device yet it passes validation testing. 3. Beta testing does not work reliably. Users get emails but app never shows up under "My Apps" tab. Seems to be a common problem from messages on forum.
Hi, The issue is like this: 1> I've an application based on .Net 3.5, C#, WPF and MS Access/SQL Express. 2> The application is already being used (paid up) by more than 17 clients (world over) with more than 300 seats. 3> I want to publish the same app on www.AppUp.com to sale the application world over. 4> I make changes to the source code , introduce Intel SDK InitializeComponent(); & remove all the private keys as Intel has promised that my application will not be pirated.
Hello I recently submitted my app for validation and then received "The parameter is incorrect" error. Normally I would dig through my msi file and code, however I am unable to reproduce this error at all. I have downloaded the app on 6 different beta test computers from various people, 3 of which are laptops, and the app ran downloaded, installed, and ran fine from every one of those tests. I have no idea what is causing the failure because I cannot reproduce the reported error. Any help on this will greatly appreciated Thanks, Kyle
hi all, After the developer submit his application to inetl appup for validation, where the actual validation is done wheather it done by intel people or any third party people validate the particular application. Thnks, Pavan

Hi, I noticed mention of having app available at two locations from the app submitters web site and from AppUp. I plan to remove any links on my site for my app and point to Appup for the download. But I want to wait till I know my app has passed validation. Will that be a problem for the validation team? Thanks, -Tony
Hi All, I had my ap rejected for an exception message (my own) and made a quick fix (packaging error). My state is "Draft" but the status is "Rejected". Is there something I need to do still or that is normal becuase the validation team has not gotten back to looking at my app. Thanks, -Tony
