I have Intel Pentium 4 as my development machine. Can I use Intel Concurrency Checker utility on it?

The Pentium 4 has but a single processor so the Intel Concurrency Checker can't be used.

Later model P4 had HyperThread.

I consulted with Intel Software Partner Program support on this, and basically the answer is that it's not recommended. It might runwitha hyperthreading capable processor, but the minimum number of recommended cores is 2, and hyperthreading will only emulate 2 cores. You can find the guidelines and system requirements at http://swpartner.intel.com/Partner/Initiatives/SATCenter.aspx?Lang=ENG.

So, at least Duo processor with physical Multi-Core?
What I see around myselfright now is that multi-core technology has beenpopular and been accepted as future direction instead of higher 'GHz'.
BTW, I am from Shanghai, China.
