D/300SC-E1 card specifications

Hi Irena,
I am working as a telecom domain specialist in a product development company at Hyderabad(India).I working on a IVR product and I came across the specifications of the D/300SC-E1 dialogic card. What seemed confusing is the use of the term devices.It is mentioned that there are 30 voice devices and 30 timeslots on the E1 interface which makes it as total 60 devices.Is it that one timeslot is considered as one device?Could anybody clarify .Thanks in advance
