Buying the license for a trial verision

I downloaded and installed the trial student version of Intel® Composer XE for Windows* 2013. Since it is working quite well, I want to buy the licence without having to re-install it. I went through option 1 of "How do I upgrade from an evaluation to a full commercial version?", but I guess this is not the correct way because after I registered the serial number of the trial version I got again the email with the link to download the trial version and the licence attached.

If you don't want to reinstall, you can simply copy the new license file to the active license folder (normally like C:\program files (x86)\common\intel\licenses\). Remove the original trial license if you like. Eventually, you may want to upgrade anyway, by registering the license at https://registrationcenter.com and using the download section of that site.
