The Intel® Trace Analyzer and Collector 8.1 Update 2 for Linux* and Windows* is a low-overhead scalable event-tracing library with graphical analysis that reduces the time it takes an application developer to enable maximum performance of cluster applications. This package is for users who develop on and build for IA-32 and Intel® 64 architectures on Linux* and Windows*, as well as customers running on the Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessor on Linux*. You must have a valid license to download, install and use this product.
The Intel® MPI Library for Linux* and Windows* is a high-performance interconnect-independent multi-fabric library implementation of the industry-standard Message Passing Interface, v2.2 (MPI-2.2) specification. This package is for MPI users who develop on and build for IA-32 and Intel® 64 architectures on Linux* and Windows*, as well as customers running on the Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessor on Linux*. You must have a valid license to download, install and use this product.
Answers for the questions raised during the April session of our Introduction to High Performance Application Development for Intel® Xeon® & Intel® Xeon Phi™ processors class have been assembled. There were some duplicates and other questions we couldn't decipher, either because of the wording or because of implied context that was not spelled out. We tried to address the rest, which appear below:
1. Check prerequisites
- Each host and each Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessor should have a unique IP address across a cluster;
- ssh access between host(s) and Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessor(s) should be password-less;
- Update the Intel® Manycore Platform Software Stack (Intel® MPSS) to current version;
