"Access is Denied" when provisioning AMT clients using SCCM package

Hi,

I've created a software package/wrapper script that will execute the ACUConfig.exe command line executable to provision a machine using SCCM 2007.  I've already granted the local SYSTEM account (which SCCM uses to execute packages on machines) access to WMI namepsace yet i'm getting errors on machines when i try to provision them using this package.  If I run the same script manually (using my own account), it works fine.  Here are some of the erros i'm receiving in the ACUConfig log file:

Disable 'Enable User Notification' option in IMSS

Hi

I'd like to disable the 'Enable User Notification' option in IMSS for all versions of this software but it appears to require different registry keys depending on version. (e.g. Version 8.1 uses "ShowUserNotification") Does anyone have a comprehensive list of which registry key changes this for all versions or would disabling the 'Intel Management and Security Application User Notification Service' be a better option?  I'm reluctant to do this as I don't know if this will prevent the functionality of the software in any way.

Thanks,

Jim

Intel AMT v8.x TLS Configuration

Hello.

I would like to ask a few questions about configuring TLS-PSK (if it's still posible) with AMT SCS 8.0

My university had recently purchased about 200 AMT-enabled computers - HP 8300 series, MBEx of the version 8.0.0.0063 , with ME v8.1.0.1265.

Considering the amount of the machines we would like to use AMT for remote OOB managemant.

Since those computers are installed in students' labs there is a clear security concern: we cannot rely on the

login/password only, while managing each machine remotely.

AMT and FreeBSD scripts

We have two problems with Intel AMT and FreeBSD.

First:

On AMT version:  8.1.20-build 1336 AMT stop responding about five minutes after booting FreeBSD, it's FreeBSD 9.1-STABLE, 64 bit.

On Linux AMT works fine. We suspect driver, but it's similar like on Linux.

Second:

We have shell scripts to manage computers, on version 5 (older computers) we can sending command like:

Intel s5520sc workstation board BIOS update

Hello. I'm not sure if it is the right place I'm writing in, but I would like to get some help on updating my Intel’s s5520sc boards BIOS. I know that this shouldn't be hard and I found a lot of material on how to do it on desktop boards. The problem I face is that my boards Bios update doesn't have possibilities to install like iFlash BIOS Update, ISO Image BIOS Update... to update my BIOS I need to use something called EFI Shell. I couldn't find any instructions on that and without them I don't want to attempt any tries and guesses. I would very appreciate if anybody could help me.

vPro Alarm Clock working only on full hours

Hello.

I have trouble setting the Alarm Clock properly. I am using the C++ API ver. 8.1. The documentation says that in the start time I'm supposed to fill in year, month, day, hour, and minutes, and that seconds have to be 0. Yet, whenever I try to set the minutes to something other than 0, we get the "XML invalid" exception. Can this be circumvented, so that I'm able to set the alarm with better precision than hours?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Patryk

how to implement vPro????

I want to implement USE vPro, not develop for it... is there a turnkey solution that someone offers? or an out-of-box software that just simply works?  just wondering.  Seems like vPro has 10-15 seperate items (sdk, adk, scs, bla bla bla) and not one thing that ties them all together on it's own. I am wrong or am i just missing somthing? Is a third party software required? Is there a consultant available that can simply explain the steps?

thanks!
