1. What is the Intel® VA app?

The app is a mobile, rich media app collecting articles, videos, and image galleries that showcase advances in visual computing. With an emphasis on game development, digital content creation (including audio), and 3D animation, the Intel VA app highlights advancements and innovations that utilize the latest technologies. 2. Will the Intel VA app be available for other mobile devices and platforms?

Intel VA is currently available for the iPad, iPhone, and Android platforms. A Kindle* app is coming soon. We will be evaluating new devices and platforms as they are released to determine which platforms will provide the media rich experience we aim to deliver.

3. How does the app work?

Content is sorted by category and by media type. Using the icons on the bottom bar, you can view by Articles, Videos, and Galleries. Inside each of these, content is categorized under Game Dev, Digital Artistry, Workflow, and Tech Tools. To see everything in each category, select the All button. The newest content added to the app is found under Featured.

4. What are some of the app's features?

You can use the Search functionality to search app content by typing keywords. Favorites allows you to save a list of the content you find most interesting. Simply tap the star icon to add a piece of content to your list. When the icon turns blue, you've added that to your Favorites. To remove an item from Favorites, open the item and tap the star icon.
