Intel Corporation and OurStage.com Launch Music Competition
Intel® Superstars 2011
Intel Corporation and OurStage.com, along with sponsors Cakewalk, Orange Amps, Gibson Guitars, and Blue Microphones, have come together to launch an exciting competition for emerging artists. The Intel Superstars 2011 Competition invites musicians and producers to submit original music in six genre-based competitions: rock, pop, country, singer-songwriter, urban, and Latin.
Fans will rank all submissions through OurStage’s patented judging technology, with prize packages awarded to the First Place winners from each genre-based competition. A panel of industry experts will select one Grand Prize winner from among the top 10 overall ranked artists.
More than USD 35,000 in prize packages will be awarded to the First Place winners, including 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor-based Orange OPCs, Cakewalk SONAR* X1 Production Suite software, a Gibson USA Les Paul Studio ’60s Tribute* Darkback guitar, Blue Microphones’ Yeti* Pro USB mic, plus promotion to the millions of OurStage.com and Intel fans. In addition, one lucky fan will win a Gibson USA Firebird* X guitar. The Grand Prize winner will receive USD 10,000 in cash that can be used to record an album, tour the country, fix up the band van, pay the rent, or anything else a superstar might need.
