Intel AMT provides for TLS as an option, as well as user authentication options. An IT administrator can configure for certificate-based TLS authentication and optionally select mutual TLS authentication. Intel AMT maps users to an Access Control List that is used to authorize all access requests. It can use Digest authentication for user authentication or use the Kerberos option of Microsoft Active Directory.
Intel AMT uses HTTP Digest or Kerberos authentication for WS-Management/SOAP over HTTP communications. The Redirection and KVM features use secure sockets layer (SSL) to establish a secure connection between the remote console and the Intel AMT platform.
