Use Cases Demonstrating Host-Based Setup

The use cases in this section demonstrate the different host-based setup options an what is required to enter either Client control mode or Admin Control mode.

Note:

Like manual configuration, the network time must be set after performing any type of host-based setup. Intel AMT assumes that its internal clock is based on UTC. If this time was never set, attempts to enable TLS or Kerberos will fail. See Time Synchronization.
