Open Source Software

Open Source Ecosystem Partners and Industry Participation
Ecosystem Partners and Industry Participation

Our Ecosystem

How do we make Linux solutions robust and widely available on our platforms? We work with all layers of the software ecosystem—consortia, developer communities, and commercial vendors—to develop dependable drivers, operating systems, and applications.

We work with the communities, within the community norms, and upstream whenever possible so the benefit of the work is enjoyed by all and maintained as a core element of the projects.

Intel® Capital has a proven track record of helping companies reach new levels of performance through close involvement with and support for our portfolio companies. In addition to venture funding, Intel Capital routinely provides assistance to new ventures in the areas of business planning and development, board involvement as a board observer, recruiting of key board members and executive staff, engagement with Intel’s business groups on technology and co-marketing programs, opportunities to meet new customers at Intel Capital Technology Days, and participation in the annual Intel Capital CEO Summit.
