| I have had this game series since 2003 and its about the only flight sim I have stayed with. Its simplicity and the graphics that it gave me was most fulfilling. I could be hanging in behind a MiG21, something I had never seen before in a game, wailing on him with gun or missiles or dropping bombs next mission. Modding is additive and patching your modded games can be a pain but it's still my #1. |

| The unique thing that sets this game appart from the rest of the Strike Fighters 2 series is the presence of mercenaries in the campaign.
Here you can buy your planes and armaments and earn money depending on mission performance. This adds more excitement as opposed to flying a conventional air force. |
