Energy Lens is an Excel add-in for the analysis of interval data - detailed records of energy consumption taken by a smart meter at intervals of 60 minutes or less.  Energy Lens makes it easy to turn such data into charts and tables that are useful for energy monitoring.

Once you've opened up a set of interval data in Excel, you can load it into Energy Lens, ready for analysis. Energy Lens will then present you with a simple user interface for turning the data into charts and tables of figures.

There are many ways in which the analysis that Energy Lens offers can be used, but typically it's used for energy-management purposes - regular analysis to find routine waste and to track progress at reducing it. The analysis can also be valuable as part of a strategic energy awareness campaign.
