Avanti(tm) virtualizes existing Alpha hardware running OpenVMS and Tru64 Unix by emulating the Alpha hardware on Intel host hardware.  Avanti allows Alpha systems to be rehosted without modification on Intel servers running Windows.  The hosted OpenVMS or Tru64 Unix applications think they are still on real Alpha hardware, so no modification or recompilation is required.  Avanti replaces legacy Alpha hardware, recovering space in data centers, reducing maintenance costs, and reducing operating costs.  Retain your Alpha applications unchanged while moving off older hardware with Avanti!
