It’s been about two years since we implemented the code signing process for all applications submitted for distribution via the Intel AppUp® center. When code signing was first implemented, we offered to subsidize the cost associated with obtaining a valid certificate from Comodo Certificate Authority via the Intel Developer Zone. All apps--both paid and free--are still required to have a valid certificate before starting the app submission process. If you do not have a valid certificate or you need to renew an existing certificate, you will have an opportunity to do so, from now until May 31, 2013.
