Use Our Samples and Start Building Location Based Apps Today
The following 9 code samples are provided to help you get your location based app up and running faster. This sample code is good for any developer wishing to add location-based features to their app, regardless of the target platform or device. Note, these APIs may require a geolocation feature for some use cases, either from the device's GPS or other means. These APIs have been tested to work with existing GPS capable mobile devices as well as 3rd party geolocation services for devices without GPS features.

Developer Services Beta Usage Parameters
This initial beta period is restricted to non-commercial use, meaning only non-monetized apps such as those distributed for free or those without revenue from additional services (i.e. ads, licensing, or other means) will be allow to use these services during the beta period. Non-commercial apps can freely use the services for prototyping and testing use of the Developer Services location based API.
Note, if you have a commercial need or interest for Developer Services and want to know when and how the service will be available please post your inquiry and request to our forum
All developer services APIs are free to use, and will allow up to 10,000 API calls a day per account with an aggregate of 200,000 calls per month per account. The courtesy period will provide enough calls a day for the developer to prototype their application for use with the service. Note the API can be used by developers to set interval periods for calls, allowing developers to code the logic in their applications to manage the number of calls their app makes.
