Intel Purchase of Offset Software (Project Offset)

Dear Visual Computing community,

Intel purchased Offset Software to improve our game development knowledge-base and to further Intels visual computing technology development expertise, helping the company offer robust products, support, and tools to customers. With the recent changes in our product roadmap, some of the resources and technologies from the acquisition are being re-applied to help support new graphics related projects. Additionally, other Offset Software team members have moved onto other external projects outside the company.

FSX & HD 4000

Cannot get FSX to go into 32 bit graphic mode with HD 4000 even though it allows selection in its graphics display setup section. (FS2004 works fine BTW)

FSX always goes down to 16 bit mode as soon as I'm full screen mode or windowed mode. FSX has a Display.cfg which lists older Intel chips. Maybe need a new entry? Anyone run into is issue?

Havok - Error when removing an Entity from World when Visual Debugger is on

When I attempt to delete an entity from my world while the visual debugger is turned on my application aborts. If the visual debugger is turned off then everything works fine. Is there anything I need to do so that the visual debuggger dosn't crash my program?

When I debug it this is always the last line of code to run before the crash happens.

HavokPhysics::getInstance()->m_pHavok_world->removeEntity(tempRigidBody);

P.S: This is my first time posting, so I apolgoies if I break any of the communites rules.

GL_INTEL_map_texture not working after driver v15.31

I just noticed that the GL_INTEL_map_texture OpenGL extension, specifically, glMapTexture2DINTEL() returns null with the newly released driver v15.31 (15.31.3.64.3071).

I was wondering if anyone else noticed this or has a work around.  The Map/Unmap functions are otherwise straight forward to use and perform well.

Extra information:

The extension string 'GL_INTEL_map_texture' is present as are the proceedure addresses.

glGetError() return GL_INVALID_OPERATION after calling glMapTexture2DINTEL()
